There’s actually a theory that Tom and Jerry are best friends. Tom had to pretend to attack Jerry in front of the humans because if he doesn’t, they’ll get another cat that actually will kill Jerry. Why did they kill off OG Jerry/Apocalypse Jerry? I actually liked him and every word he said was real and full of emotions. I liked that he threw the truth at Morty and didn't hold back. Then they just straight-up killed Jerry by Prime Rick. I honestly thought they were going to partner up and kill off our Rick.This wasn't the last episode. This was #103 of 114 that Hanna and Barbera made in the 40s and 50s, and there were more made by Gene Deitch and Chuck Jones after that. also this is not the first or the only time they died. they also die in the one with the clockwork female mouse "come up and meet me sometime".
