I simply buy a cheap no name battery, take it 1-2 numbers bigger = 110AH in case of the R8, maintain it with my ctek and replace when it starts to make trouble. in all cars I had and done this the battery lasted between 4 and 7 years, for the savings compared to high price brand one I could replace it all 2 years.
